Beginning yesterday and running until June 14, 2021, the Horological Society of New York (HSNY), in conjunction with Phillips in Association with Back & Russo, is running the replica Timepieces for HSNY: 2021 Charity Auction. The auction, which typically takes place during HSNY’s annual Gala that has been a tradition since 1866, is taking place online via Phillips’ Gallery One, a next generation auction experience that allows collectors to bid virtually from anywhere in the world.
Other highlights include a Rolex Air-King Ref. 5500 replica watch with inside case back stamped 1002 that is a rare stainless steel fake wristwatch with bracelet, “Pool-Intairdril” logo, and presentation box, c. 1979. This is lot #1 and the watch is estimated to sell for between $2,000 to $3,000.
A silver Ulysse Nardin chronometer deck watch, circa 1942 and donated by the brand is also up for sale.
